Chat with a Buddy Using Audio and Video
By attaching a webcam and microphone to your Mac mini, you can equip it to chat to your buddies using audio and video. Each buddy’s computer also needs a microphone and webcam.
At this writing, you can use the audio and video chat features in Messages only with buddies on instant messaging services, not with contacts on iMessage. To chat via audio and video with iMessage users, use FaceTime, discussed later in this chapter.
