Set Up Family Safety
If your children have tablet access, you can protect them from malicious content by setting up parental controls, called the Family Safety feature, for activities such as web surfing, playing games, and running programs. Family Safety enables you to set specific limits on how your children perform various activities on the tablet. For example, the Windows Web Filter lets you specify allowable websites, restrict sites based on content, and block file downloads.
Before you can apply the Family Safety controls, you must set up a Windows 8 user account for each child. See the section “Create a User Account” in Chapter 12.
