So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Managing Your Data
Salesforce provides two main tools for importing, updating, transferring, and deleting data. The Import Wizard takes you through data management step by step. The Data Loader runs as a separate application on Windows machines. Both tools work with CSV (comma-separated values) files, which should begin with a row of column headers, and include one record per row in the rest of the file.
