Running Apps

macOS includes many apps, such as the TextEdit word processor, the Preview viewer for PDF files and images, and the Music app for playing music. You can install other apps as needed. Whichever apps you run, you can switch among them easily, quit them when you finish using them, and force them to quit if they crash.
