Chatting with Zoom
Although you will mostly use Zoom for meetings, you can also use Zoom to chat with other people. For example, you can chat with contacts and exchange files and audio messages. You can create a channel for ongoing conversation, add data to your personal chat space, and more.

You can exchange text messages with any Zoom contact by starting a chat session with that person. Zoom meetings are a great way to exchange information, but they are often overkill if you need to impart only a small amount of information with one person or if you just want to have a short conversation with someone. For these more limited scenarios, a better solution is a chat session where you exchange brief text messages with someone in your Zoom Contacts directory.
