Chapter 3. Edit Text
Once you know how to navigate around Word, it is time to work with the text that you type on a page. In this chapter, you learn editing techniques that you can use to change text in documents you create.

You can insert text into a document by adding to existing text or replacing existing text. In Overtype mode, Word replaces existing text to the right of the insertion point, character for character. In Insert mode, Word adds to existing text.
