Schedule an Appointment
Outlook’s Calendar function enables you to plan your days by entering appointments—events that do not involve inviting others or reserving resources. Appointments can be one-time events, such as a luncheon, or recurring — for example, a weekly meeting. Outlook sends you a reminder about your appointment 15 minutes before it starts (although you can disable or change the default reminder time).
Schedule an Appointment
1. | In the date navigator, click the date on which the appointment is to occur.

2. | Click the New button.

3. | In the new appointment window, type a description.
|
4. | Type the address or other location-related information.
The Start time and End time entries match the date you selected in Step 1.

5. | Click to set the appointment’s start and end times.
For an all-day appointment, select All Day Event in lieu of setting start and end times.

6. | Type any notes for the appointment.
