7.8. Adjust Sharpness
All digital images have an inherent softness, and iPhoto gives you control over the perceived sharpness of your photographs. An image with plenty of detail can be a prime candidate for sharpening to accentuate its intricacies. Portraits may benefit from a softening of the image to hide less-than-perfect skin detail.
