3.14. Back Up the iPhoto Library with Time Machine
Time Machine provides an efficient way to back up your computer, including the iPhoto Library. Periodically backing up your iPhoto Library helps to protect your photo collection from accidental erasure and file corruption. Time Machine requires a second volume and you must set up Time Machine before you begin backing up your files.
