Move to Locations on the Desktop
The Mac desktop provides many ways to get to specific folders that you want to view. Two of the most useful of these are the sidebar and the Go menu.
Starting from the sidebar and using the Column view, you can quickly get to any location on the desktop. With the Go menu, you can easily jump to many locations that you commonly visit, along with locations that are typically hidden on the desktop.
