Evaluation of Student Learning

In addition to improving the way in which courses are prepared and executed, effective and timely evaluation of student work is critical to improving student learning. When student work is evaluated, their learning or achievement is being held to a set of established standards against which a valuation is placed. More headaches and heartbreaks are associated with evaluation procedures than with any other aspect of education. This is equally true for learners, teachers, and programs.
