Three primary forms of commodity market analysis exist: technical, fundamental, and seasonal. Successful trading likely comes through a combination of all three methods, but I believe technical analysis to be the most critical because it enables traders to time entry and exit any particular speculative position. After all, simply being right about market direction doesn’t guarantee profits; timing is everything!
