The main advantage is that you don’t pay them. They are happy enough to do it for a backlink to their own site. The main disadvantage is that you don’t pay them. How much can you really rely on someone you don’t pay? I don’t doubt you can get good articles from your most prolific guest bloggers, and you should certainly continue to promote your availability for guest posts.
