A Low-Voltage Cue-Light System

Stage managers always need direct control over cue lights and the practical sound cues that directly affect the timing of a show. Yet, lighting control systems do not always include enough non-dim circuits to meet all such needs. In such instances, the cue light system described in this article may be particularly useful. A version of this system has served in many Delaware Theatre Company productions, starting with Trip to Bountzful in October, 1993. The system is inexpensive, easy to build, and can quickly be adapted to new cue light control and placement needs.
