After studying the material in this chapter, you should be able to:

4. Dimension mating parts using limit dimensions, unilateral tolerances, and bilateral tolerances.

5. Describe the classes of fit and give examples of each.

6. Draw geometric tolerancing symbols.

7. Specify geometric tolerances.

8. Relate datum surfaces to degrees of freedom.
