Chapter 5. Model State Feedback Implementations of IMC
Objectives of the Chapter
To introduce MSF implementations of 1DF and 2DF IMC systems that yield improved output responses for constrained (i.e., real) control efforts.
To provide examples of the dynamic simulation of systems (e.g., processes and their feedback control systems) described by linear differential equations with time delays and control effort limits.
To introduce the diagrams used to input structure and data to dynamic simulators and digital control systems.
