Abstract

Innovating supply chain operations with digital technology is a challenge for many enterprises due to ingrained barriers. Yet, innovation is a necessity that goes beyond continuous improvement. This chapter defines what innovation means and reviews the barriers typically encountered in innovating supply chain operations.
