Marketing a spec screenplay requires strategy, determination, and a realistic understanding of the industry. The marketplace is extremely competitive, and even the best projects written by established professionals can end up on the shelf or forever lost in development hell. Still, an excellent original script, submitted to the right person at the right time, might suddenly break through the barriers.
