A Scientific Cloud Workflow System

This chapter demonstrates a scientific cloud workflow system called SwinDeW-C [58, 68, 101]. The work presented in this book is being gradually implemented as system components and tested in SwinDeW-C, which is a cloud workflow system prototype built on SwinCloud, a cloud computing test bed. All the simulation experiments demonstrated in this book are conducted in our SwinCloud environment. The SwinCloud infrastructure and SwinDeW-C architecture are depicted in Figures 3.1 and 3.2, respectively.
