FSO Link and System Design

The design of end-to-end optical wireless communication link depends on the type of wireless system under consideration, such as space/satellite, terrestrial, or an indoor system. Though the design consideration in each case is different, but in all the systems it depends on the desired link characteristics, channel constraints placed on the path and the transceiver structures used.
