This section of the technical appendix provides supplementary materials to support the documentation of validity. Suggestions for coding items so that they can be tracked back to assessment objectives, and further, to the job/practice analysis (J/PA) are included. Strategies for structuring an item development worksheet are offered. Instructions for computing decision validity are provided, along with an example. The relationship between predictive validity and Kirkpatrick level 3 evaluation and computation issues are discussed.
