This is a book about how to effectively apply the discipline of test-driven development (TDD) to the tasks surrounding delivery of database functionality. It is a book for people who want to know how to apply the discipline of test-driven development to database programming. To get to how, though, one first needs to examine why, who, and what.
When I started writing this book, the working title was Agile Database Development: From Requirements to Delivery. The fact that its name and scope has changed a couple times seems quite fitting.
