Albert Johnson had just moved to a small town, too far out to be a suburb, but close enough that he could make a long commute to get to his office in Omaha. He lived in a small cottage by a lake. The waterfront property, an acre and a half, cost far less than a three-bedroom ranch home closer to his office. If the gas prices didn’t eat him alive on the commute, he was going to have a lower cost of living and live in a constant vacation setting. Cool.
