So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Your rewards will always be determined by your results.
You will always be paid in direct proportion to what you do, how well you do it, and the difficulty of replacing you. We live in a meritocracy where we are always rewarded in direct proportion to the results we get for others.
The fastest way for you to get paid more and promoted faster is for you to achieve a greater quality and quantity of results for your company and for yourself. People who enjoy high incomes and high standards of living are people who are getting more and better results than others in whatever it is that they are doing.
Focus on accomplishments rather than activities. Continually look for ways to get more and better results, faster than before. ...
