The creative direction and design team Kjell Ekhorn (Norwegian) and Jon Forss (British) of Non-Format are based in Oslo and Minneapolis respectively. In 2009, they were commissioned by Computer Arts magazine (Future Publishing) to create this cover and opening spread. The cover is die-cut and scored so that, once folded out, the shapes spell out the word ‘BIRTH’. Inside spread photo: Non-Format and Jake Walters.
