Starting Point: The Evaluator's Program Description
SCENARIO FOUR
Mike Ramirez called the new meeting to order. Mike introduced Judy Hallowell, an evaluation specialist whom Mike had promised to bring in from the University. Judy would help the organizing committee address the issue of evaluation in the grant proposal. The first thing Judy did was to congratulate the group on dealing with the evaluation component during the planning stage of the new program. “I understand that you want to include a gardening program in your offerings.”
“Yes,” the program director said, “but we're interested in this for reasons other than the beautiful flowers that Ruth grows.”
“Oh?” Judy said. “What are the reasons?”
