Coordinating the Team
For its next adventure, Team Fantastic is transported to a park in the Midwest in the 1920s. The mission is a team test: Ride a bicycle around Swimmer’s Lake. Make it all the way around before dark and without anyone getting hurt.
You find a bicycle shop on the shore of the lake, where you learn that this will be more than a relaxing ride in the park. When you were told to ride “a bicycle” around the lake, this meant one bike for the entire team. Waiting for you is a bicycle that has been specially built so that each member has his or her own seat and pedals, and the person in the front is the only one who can steer, shift the gears, or apply the brakes.
