Author Biography
Dr. Asma Mehan is an author, educator, urbanist, researcher, and architectural historian currently serving as an assistant professor at the Huckabee College of Architecture, Texas Tech University. She is the director of the Architectural Humanities and Urbanism Lab (AHU_Lab).
Before settling in Lubbock, Dr. Mehan was a senior researcher at the University of Porto. She was awarded the urban citizen fellowship at the Netherlands Institute for the Advanced Studies in Social Sciences and Humanities (NIAS-KNAW) in collaboration with the Municipality of Amsterdam.
