One of the early difficulties we faced was setting the right scope for our data projects. We sometimes delivered things that were too complex or too sophisticated. We learned the importance of simplicity and clarity and adjusted as we went along. It was a lesson in restraint: not to get carried away with creating impressive outputs that overwhelm people. This taught us to focus on delivering clear information that supported actionable insights.
