Chapter 15. Voice Control
You can perform some tasks on your Fire using just your voice (and a finger to press the home button). Amazon is the first to admit that the Fire’s voice controls aren’t comparable with those on competing smartphones (Apple’s Siri, Google’s Google Now, and Microsoft’s Cortana), but they are working on adding functionality. As of this writing, you can use your voice to dictate (covered in Chapter 3), call someone, send texts and emails, and search the web or Amazon.com. This chapter covers all of these uses.
