Chapter Fifteen. Case Studies
This final chapter will now examine a number of digital compositing examples that are taken from the real world. We will attempt to give a sense of the diversity of work that is being created using digital compositing methods, and will discuss how the various concepts that we have presented in this book were used to create this work.
We’ve kept a few of the original case studies from the first edition—specifically the first six studies in this chapter. Although they are discussing the technology as it existed just before the turn of the century, the basic techniques are still valid.
