You Know More Than You Think You Do

More often than not, you will get a plate to track – and be missing a valuable bit of information. Even the best-laid plans for recording data on set can fall apart, and things might be overlooked – you wish you knew how wide those floor boards are, for example, or how deep the area rug is. Sometimes it's hard to know in the heat of the moment what measurements will and won't be important when you're on set; even if you have the best guys on set getting matchmove information for you, some things will slip through the cracks.
