The Initial Search
The purpose of the initial search is to narrow the field of possibilities. The following guidelines will help with this process:
1. Clarify the purpose of the intervention, i.e., your business goals, and what you want people to get out of the feedback. What do you want to measure? What do you want people to understand or do differently?
2. Obtain samples of the materials—the instrument itself, the feedback report, the support materials, and so forth.
