The films Paula Heredia has worked on represent a broad range of content—from Finding Christa, a moving personal story of a woman searching for the daughter she gave up for adoption, which won the 1992 Sundance Jury Award for Best Documentary, to the more recent In Memoriam: New York City, 9/11/01, an HBO special for which Heredia shared an Emmy for Best Editing with coeditor Geof Bartz. Independent reviewer Jeff Shannon called In Memoriam “one of the most vital documents to emerge after the events of September 11, 2001.”
