I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Audio recording is the recording of sound. It is the act of capturing the physical dimensions of sound, then reproducing those dimensions either immediately or from a storage medium (magnetic, solid, electronic, digital), and thereby returning those dimensions to their physical, acoustic state. The process moves from physical sound, through the recording/reproduction chain, and back to physical sound.
The “art” in recording centers around the artistically sensitive application of the recording process.
