In this chapter, you’ll learn how to use the EV3 sensors to make your robot react to what’s happening around it. We humans learn about the world around us using our five senses (touch, sight, sound, smell, and taste). A robot uses sensors in a similar way to gather information about its environment. By using the EV3 sensors, you can program your robot to avoid obstacles, follow a line on the floor, react to light, identify objects based on their color, and much, much more!
