In this book, I’ll showcase my process of drawing characters and props from three speculative fictional traditions: science fiction, horror, and fantasy or adventure. Each genre has its own unique conventions and characters that populate movies, television shows, videogames, and literature. I have chosen various archetypes and icons from each genre and developed them to illuminate at least one way of approaching character illustration.
