Saving Leftover Paint

If you are a recycler, paint pouring makes for the ideal technique, as you can reuse old household items, like colanders (see here), in addition to saving leftover paint for later use. Saving paint reduces waste, and it helps me get creative with my other art projects too. I save leftover paint as a skin (see below) on freezer paper, a silicone baking mat, or watercolor paper. Then I can use the leftover paint to make jewelry (shown here), bookmarks, greeting cards, and magnets.
