The ability to influence is a key skill in any organisational setting. When you are managing projects across departmental boundaries, it is the key tool in your armoury for making things happen. Influence is the ability to bring others to your way of thinking without force or coercion; it is about genuinely winning people’s support and commitment to do things because you have convinced them that it is the right or best course of action.
