The Value of Being Face to Face

When we discussed writing as a superpower in Chapter 4, I addressed the Agile Manifesto’s perspective about face-to-face communication. While face-to-face communication wins on speed and fidelity, written and other asynchronous forms of communication are more inclusive. Writing also helps share information and context at scale.

But then what is a face-to-face interaction (F2F) good for? In a world where you can work productively when you’re remote, is there any value in being in the same physical space?
