Cartoonists were at the groom’s side when he married Elvis Presley’s daughter, and were looking up as he dangled his son Prince over a 4-story balcony. In 1984, the media was making a big deal out of President Reagan meeting Michael Jackson. I wanted to do something ironic, with Reagan being the friend of the white male millionaire. I came up with this cartoon that hit the spot.
