The stark picture outlined in the preceding chapters should motivate us to get moving. But before acting, we need a new mind-set that aligns with this hotter, scarcer, more open world. Making the Big Pivot will require companies and executives to leave behind old, preconceived notions about how business deals with social and environmental challenges.
