Exercise 4.1. One staple of the texture-building tutorials was the Mosaic filter. Look through the Image: Filters menu for other filters that you could use to build different textures in a similar way.

Exercise 4.2. Many steps were involved in creating the texture shown in Figure 4-42. Try repeating or omitting some of the steps and see how many different results you can achieve.
