Janis Forman, the progenitor, driving force, and spiritual guide of this project, has provided an eloquent essay employing E.M. Forster’s “Only Connect” as the mantra guiding this collection. This essay builds upon that mantra while simultaneously referencing a second, equally important literary figure.
