Option and Literary Purchase Agreement1
This sets forth the terms of agreement (the “Agreement”) dated as of ___________, between ___________ (“Owner”) and ___________ (“Buyer”),2 in connection with the published literary work entitled ___________ (the “Property,” which includes any and all editions, translations, and other versions together with all now existing and hereafter created titles, themes, ideas, stories, contents, dialogue, characters, artwork, visual images, issues, adaptations of said literary work to the extent owned or controlled by Owner) written by Owner.3 For convenience, the first theatrical motion picture or other production produced based upon the Property is referred to herein as the “Picture.”
