I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

About This Book
This handbook is an attempt at collecting all in one place the wide variety of theories, procedures, and tactics used by the Motion Picture Camera Assistants in the performance of their duties on the professional film set or location.
It will NOT be a camera instruction manual, detailing how to assemble and thread film into specific cameras. There are other books for that, books that go into incredibly minute detail about all of the bits and pieces of motion picture cameras and their associated magazines and accessories. It would be not only difficult but pointless for me to duplicate their efforts.
There are many more important things for the Camera Assistant to know than how to change the groundglass or adjust the magazine ...
