Film Stock
Currently there are two manufacturers of professional motion picture film stock, Eastman Kodak and Fuji, and there are a large number of film stocks available for both 16 mm and 35 mm professional cinematography. These film stocks are available in color and black and white, in negative and reversal. Emulsions are available in slow-, medium-, and high-speed exposure index (EI) ratings. Some of the film stocks are balanced for shooting in tungsten light and some are balanced for shooting in daylight. Table A.1 contains a listing of all current film stocks available from Eastman Kodak and Fuji at publication time.
