At the heart of charismatic leadership is strategic vision—a subject that has been long admired but seldom investigated. Through biographical and autobiographical materials on two acclaimed charismatic leaders, we probe into the nature and context of strategic vision, the strategic styles of the protagonists, the origins of these styles and their contexts of justification, and the processes by which the visions developed.
