Covering Analytics alone is like playing darts blindfoldedly

Data doesn’t fall from the sky. It is captured or acquired, managed, stored, transformed, forwarded, and it finally gets used.

None of these steps should be looked at in isolation, as they strongly depend on each other. This is also why an organization’s Data Office should be responsible for the entire lifecycle of data. I call it the “Data Supply Chain.”
