I want to make it clear that there is no ROI formula for collaboration or for deploying emergent collaboration platforms. There also isn’t a set of simple steps you can follow that will lead you to some sort of ROI number. It’s ironic, but none of the companies I have worked with or researched have been able to predict the ROI or the value that their emergent collaboration deployments would bring. Yet every one of those companies has stated that it has seen enough value to justify the investment (this is not to say that this is true for every company).
